Yay Styling!

 
Hello sunshine, how nice to see you! I hope you have all been enjoying this glorious weather as much as I have. Hopefully England might see a summer this year, well here's to wishful thinking! Although I have been super busy I can't justify staying in while the weather's so beautiful. I mean how often are we blessed with sun, it's standard to take advantage right? Well I did anyway.

I'm writing this blog as I'm sat on my tea break at work, looking out of the window wishing I could go prance about on the grass with an ice lolly, but one has to work which brings me to my new gossip; last weekend I started a new job sewing for a menswear company called Bridgens, it's all tailoring which is exactly what I've been looking for. Currently I'm their Saturday girl and we only do alterations but it's still learning the ropes of tailoring so I'm very pleased.

A couple of weeks ago I had a meeting with emerging singer/songwriter Lauren Faith who wanted me to style her music video and also wanted to wear some of  my designs. Naturally I said yes and she came over to discuss the concept and look her and the director wanted. I showed her some pieces from my stock and she fell in love with them! Thursday just gone the video took place and I got to work with hair and make-up artist Lizzie Mazza. The outcome was amazing, all the make-up tied in with every single piece of clothing and everybody was happy with my ideas, so much so the Lizzie Mazza and I was asked to be her personal team! WIN ;)

I had so much fun doing the video and I'm really looking forward to seeing it finished also since Thursday another singer/songwriter has approached me and wants me to style her and wear some of my clothes. I don't want to go into too much detail about the next one until it's finished as there's much more to talk about!
