Today was a good day, I took part in a new craft event called craft out loud which is in Derby. It was a really good day and the sunshine was on our side :) I am happy to say that there's now more people walking around with Leren Connor Pieces, I sold some of my lovely Jewellery and also some of my one off pieces to some very happy customers. Whilst there I also found some lovely handmade clay charms which will soon be transformed into some lush Jewellery, on my rounds mooching around I picked up some gorgeous homemade bath bombs for my daughter which will be put away for her hamper of girly stuff for her birthday, and lastly there was a print company who makes cards, swing tags and other lovely things with an old Adana table top press (I was in love with that alone) I spoke to them about getting some swing tags and jewellery tags done for my Label which they sounded really pleased with. I'm a sucker for handmade stuff, when buying something from a craft person Designer/Maker your not just buying there work your buying a piece of them there failures on getting it right there hard graft and love for there work. The small Print Company who does these great works seemed more than happy with what I wanted so I have just sent them an email with my order :)
