Here, there and everywhere

In the next few weeks you can find me at two local events selling my designs, I'm looking forward to selling directly to the public again however after the epic let down at London naturally I'm feeling quite cautious about shows/events. I still get very nervous when selling to the public as I'm stil very new at all but on the whole it is exciting to get involved with local events and meeting other designer/makers. The 1st one I'm taking part of is in Nottingham which is a 20 minute bus ride away the other is based in my home down in Derby.

Another good thing happened for me lately, a Boutique in Ilkeston contacted me wanting me to stock with them, I recently took a suitcase of stock to them and I am leased to say I have already sold some Jewellery. Its a lovely little Boutique based on the high street, the lady who runs it is also very lovely and whilst there i purchased some of her handmade soup as presents for birthdays I have coming up. The Boutique is called BOP Boutique selling everything from Handmade to second hand, from clothes to Jewellery and also soups and bath bombs. It's a new venture for the lady who runs it and I wish her all the luck as I know how hard it can be running a shop in todays society.
