This month the Boutique will be undergoing a makeover, changing the name from ElizaLeren to Brownings&Co. Unfortunately we have lost one of our business partners and so instead of stopping, we have decided to let this fuel us with inspiration and move forward with our business endeavors.
Over the last few weeks I have been collecting Vintage clothes to add to the Boutique. I have also collected some old records to decorate the Wardrobe with. It's really added a more eclectic side to the boutique in order to cater to a more diverse audience. Me and a good friend have been location hunting for the perfect place to do a Vintage photo shoot and we think we have found it, there's a lovely cafe/boutique called mad hares that just has Vintage written all over it in Saddlergate Derby just 5 minutes from me. I'm really hoping that the owner lets me shoot there I have her e-mail address so fingers crossed guys!!
This month I'm also starting a placement with Crooked-Knitwear so I will be learning how to knit I can already do a few little bits with knitting machines but I would really love to be able to make jumpers I have a big thing for over sized jumpers and would like to get a few in the shop before december so i have my work cut out and of course i need to make my self one I have some ideas on what designs I want to do and styles i also need to go yarn shopping :)
