I'll try Tailor anyway

I'm luckily enough to have the boutique across the road from a very nice little charity shop! they let me raid all there stock on three different floors before they put it out on the shop floor, there always sending bits and bobs over and they kindly gave me a big bag of old vintage patterns which I've sorted into boxers. Yesterday i managed to get hold of a good mixture of checked fabric with really warm colours, I started making one today its quite a tailored I'm getting confused in a few places as there's quite a lot of pattern pieces to put together. I've got a few ideas in mind on a few more i would like to make with block warm colours and some traditional English heritage fabric as yoke detail and elbow patches. For the lining I'm using a black silk based fabric, personally i think this will be a nice touch.

Being British my self i think its important for me to look at traditional British fashion so I'm really excited to experiment with more fabrics such as tweed and tartan.
